Ah, hamburger pie! Loaded with beef, spinach, and seasonings. This might look like spinach overload, but spinach is a good thing - especially if the children will eat it. And this is one dish that the children love. Add some parmesan corn on the cob and you will have "happy plates" all around!
Italian Hamburger Pie
1 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. garlic powder
8 oz. sliced mushrooms
1 tsp. sea salt
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp. black pepper
20 oz. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
8 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded
8 oz. sour cream
2 9-inch pie crusts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Brown beef, mushrooms, and onion. Drain. Combine meat mixture with all other ingredients. Pour into pie crust and bake for 30-40 minutes.
